About Josh Hoge
Josh Hoge is a new artist who is currently finishing up his debut album for Epic Records. At twenty four years old, Hoge is indeed a singer and a songwriter, but he's not a singer/songwriter in the usual sense of the phrase. Though there is a southern twang in his speaking voice, it is a versatile mix of musical styles that run through his veins. It's no wonder - Josh's family lineage is rich with diverse musical talent. His grandfather was an accomplished jazz musician, and his own father was a rock n' roll artist for Epic Records in the 1960's.
For his debut album, Josh wrote "one big relationship record." Not surprisingly, the songs focus on the rockier side of things since he wrote much of it on his pilgrimage drive back to Nashville from Los Angeles where he had just left his girl behind.
